concerning helen: Helen was born on May 30th in California. Her family moved her from California to Minnesota when she was 2. She lived there until the age of 5, when her parents relocated the family to Tennessee. She moved around as an adult and currently lives elsewhere in the United States. Helen caught the acting bug at an early age. After performing in various productions with schools, Helen had her first paid role as Tiny Tim in ShoWagon's A Christmas Carol. She went on to other productions at other theatres, working with local legends and performing in a variety of different roles. In 2000, she took a hiatus from acting in order to concentrate on her new son. As of 2006, she is now ready to return to one of the things she loves to do the most. Her "second love", incidentally, is meteorology and physical science. In school Helen was (relatively) nondescript, though she participated in quite a few activities. She actively participated in theatre, chorus, National Forensics League, Youth Legislature, basketball cheerleading, and basically overcommitted herself as much as possible. After high school, she first attended The University of Memphis where she was initiated in Sigma Kappa sorority. While there, she also participated in Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature and Freshman Council. She transferred to Mississippi State University and was initiated into Sigma Alpha Iota there. After her first marriage and subsequent divorce in 1999, she took a hiatus from school for about a year. In 2001, she had to leave school permanently to support herself and her infant son. Her son, Nicholas, was born in November of 2000. She married one of her best friends since high school, Mattie Casper, in December 2005. Helen has continued to stay active and has involved herself in a few projects.
Her hobbies include minor obsessions with the Final Fantasy games, the works of JRR Tolkien, the Sims 2, and the Harry Potter books/movies. She also loves art and music (as demonstrated by this website), graphic design, computers, crafts, psychology, learning about everything, video games, cooking, and various other things that may strike her fancy at a given moment. According to Helen's friends, she is comprised of 50% cinnamon, 30% French vanilla, 10% dulce de leche, 10% Key limes, 5% banana oil, 10% ninja, some ginger, a dash of pears, 5% "mystery formula", and 100% love- all mixed up to make some "sass in a glass". |
